I have a question for you - What non essential item do you store in the trunk of your car ?
I keep a few kites and string in my car - I'm often outdoors and when I find myself in a pleasant breezy location, I take the opportunity to fly one. When I travel overseas, especially on holiday; I carry them with me. As a result, Ive flown a kite in as diverse locations as Venice Beach in California and from a fishing boat on the Volga archipelago in Astrahan, Russia close to the Caspian Sea.

This morning I was on one of my regular visits to our construction site - our architect was also at site with his team. After we were done with our review, I took advantage of the lovely weather to fly my favourite kite - in the shape of a snake ! The Nandi Hills area is always breezy and its wonderful to feel the kite tug away as it rides the winds. What adds to the fun is to see the simple, child like pleasure every one experiences when they have a lovely kite high up in the air.
In my personal opinion, simplicity is important not just in architecture and design, but in all aspects of life. As Leonardo da Vinci said 'Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication'.
